These terms apply to the purchase and use of tickets for the Event. By completing a purchase, the purchaser agrees to these terms and confirms that they are authorised to provide registration information for every attendee included in the booking.
1. Event details
The Event is scheduled as follows:
- Date: Saturday, 14 November 2026
- Time: Saturday, 14 November 2026 at 11:30 am to Saturday, 14 November 2026 at 3:00 pm
- Venue: Maestria Restaurant & Bar by Cedrus, Bld E, Rhodes Quarter, 1 Homebush Bay Dr, Rhodes NSW 2138
- Dress code: To be confirmed
- Entry instructions: To be confirmed
The latest operational details will be available at events.stmarysorthodox.com.au/high-tea.
2. Tickets and bookings
A booking is confirmed only when:
- Stripe successfully processes the payment;
- the purchaser receives a confirmation from the Organiser; and
- the booking is not subsequently cancelled or refunded.
Every ticket will receive a unique reference number and a separate check-in QR code.
A ticket permits one person to attend unless the ticket description expressly states otherwise. Tickets remain subject to the capacity, age and eligibility conditions published for the relevant ticket type.
3. Reference-number access
The purchaser will receive:
- a booking reference for managing the complete booking; and
- a separate ticket reference for every registered attendee.
References are confidential access credentials. Anyone possessing a valid reference may be able to access the associated booking or participant portal without further identity verification.
The purchaser and attendees must:
- keep references private;
- avoid publishing or sharing them publicly;
- notify the Organiser promptly if a reference is lost, disclosed or believed to have been misused; and
- provide reasonable purchase or identity information when requesting a replacement reference.
The Organiser may revoke and reissue a reference where it reasonably believes the reference has been compromised.
The check-in QR code is separate from the login reference. Sharing a QR code may allow another person to use the ticket for entry.
4. Purchaser responsibility for attendees
The purchaser may manage all attendees included in the booking and may send each attendee their individual ticket reference so they can manage their own details.
The purchaser confirms that:
- attendee names and other information are accurate;
- each attendee has agreed to their information being provided;
- the purchaser has permission to provide any dietary, allergy, accessibility or health-related information;
- each attendee has been informed of these terms and relevant event policies; and
- attendee details will be updated if they change.
An attendee who opens their individual portal may view and update only their own attendee details and event activity. Their individual reference does not provide access to the purchaser’s complete booking or another attendee’s raffle, auction or merchandise activity.
5. Admission and check-in
Attendees may be required to present:
- their check-in QR code;
- their ticket reference;
- the purchaser’s booking details; or
- reasonable proof of eligibility for a restricted ticket.
Each ticket may be checked in once.
The Organiser may refuse entry where a ticket:
- is cancelled, refunded, duplicated or invalid;
- has already been used;
- was obtained fraudulently;
- has been resold contrary to these terms or applicable law; or
- does not satisfy a clearly disclosed eligibility requirement.
A technical problem with a phone or QR code will not automatically invalidate a genuine ticket. Event staff may verify the booking manually.
6. Attendee changes and ticket transfers
The purchaser or attendee may update permitted attendee details through the applicable booking portal until the attendee-change deadline shown for the Event.
A ticket may be transferred without charge, provided:
- the purchaser updates the attendee information before the deadline;
- the new attendee satisfies applicable eligibility conditions;
- the ticket is not resold for more than permitted by law; and
- the transfer is not conducted commercially or fraudulently.
The Organiser is not responsible for private payments or disputes between a purchaser and a person to whom they transfer a ticket.
7. Age requirements
General attendance by a person under 18 is permitted only where:
- the selected ticket type allows it;
- the person complies with the Event’s supervision requirements; and
- a responsible adult accompanies them where required.
A person must be at least 18 years old to:
- place a silent-auction bid;
- purchase raffle tickets;
- claim an age-restricted prize; or
- enter any activity expressly marked as 18+.
Age confirmation may be requested before participation or prize collection.
8. Tables and seating
Tables and seating will be allocated manually by the Organiser.
Requests may be submitted but are not guaranteed. The Organiser may change table allocations where reasonably necessary for capacity, accessibility, safety or event operations.
A table request does not form a condition of the ticket unless the Organiser expressly confirms that arrangement in writing.
9. Food, allergies and dietary requirements
The purchaser may provide dietary, allergy or accessibility information for attendees.
The Organiser will take reasonable steps to communicate relevant dietary information to the venue or catering team. However:
- food may be prepared in an environment containing common allergens;
- cross-contact may occur;
- the Organiser cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment; and
- attendees with severe or life-threatening allergies should contact the Organiser before purchasing or attending.
Nothing in this section excludes responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Accessibility
Attendees requiring accessibility assistance should provide relevant details during registration or contact the Organiser as early as practicable.
The Organiser will make reasonable efforts to accommodate notified requirements but cannot guarantee arrangements that have not been communicated sufficiently before the Event.
11. Conduct and safety
Attendees must:
- behave respectfully toward guests, volunteers, clergy, venue staff and suppliers;
- follow reasonable safety and venue directions;
- not engage in harassment, intimidation, violence or dangerous conduct;
- not deliberately damage property;
- comply with applicable laws; and
- comply with responsible-service requirements where alcohol is available.
The Organiser may refuse entry or remove a person whose conduct is unsafe, unlawful, seriously disruptive or inconsistent with these requirements.
A person removed for serious misconduct will not ordinarily be entitled to a refund, except where required by law.
12. Silent auction
Only a valid ticket holder who:
- enters their ticket reference;
- confirms they are at least 18; and
- accepts the separate Silent Auction Terms
may bid.
Bids are generally binding. Auction winners must initiate Stripe payment within 24 hours of notification. If payment is not completed, the Organiser may offer the item to the next eligible bidder.
Detailed bidding, anti-sniping, winner and collection rules will be disclosed before the first bid is submitted.
13. Raffles
Raffle participation is restricted to people aged 18 or over under the platform’s Event rules.
Each raffle has separate rules covering:
- eligibility;
- ticket prices;
- prizes;
- sales closing time;
- drawing method;
- winner notification; and
- prize collection.
A person must accept the applicable Raffle Terms before purchasing raffle tickets.
14. Event merchandise
Products purchased through the Event shop are for collection at the Event unless the Organiser confirms another arrangement.
Product purchases are governed by the Event Shop and Collection Policy and applicable consumer guarantees.
15. Event communications
The purchaser and attendees who provide an email address may receive communications reasonably necessary to manage and deliver the booking, including:
- payment and booking confirmations;
- ticket references;
- attendee-information notices;
- changes affecting the Event;
- a reminder approximately one week before the Event; and
- a reminder approximately one day before the Event.
Reminder messages may contain the dress code, venue, directions, parking, arrival time, accessibility information and other operational instructions.
The Organiser will not use the registration details for unrelated promotional mailing unless separate consent is obtained.
16. Photography and recording
Photography or video recording may occur during the Event and selected material may be published through the Organiser’s website, newsletters and social-media channels.
Attendees who do not wish to appear in identifiable photographs or recordings should notify the Organiser before the Event or speak with event staff on arrival. The Organiser will take reasonable steps to respect notified preferences.
By attending, an attendee acknowledges that they may appear incidentally in background, foreground, crowd or wide-event imagery. This acknowledgement does not replace express consent where the Organiser deliberately selects an identifiable person as the featured subject of promotional material.
The Organiser will seek appropriate permission before deliberately featuring an identifiable child, including permission from a parent or guardian where required. Attendees may ask the Organiser not to publish, or to remove where reasonably practicable, an identifiable image of themselves or a child in their care.
17. Personal belongings
Attendees are responsible for their personal belongings. Lost property should be reported to event staff.
The Organiser is not responsible for loss or damage except to the extent responsibility cannot legally be excluded.
18. Event changes
The Organiser may make reasonable operational changes, including changes to:
- program timing;
- speakers or entertainment;
- menu details;
- room or table arrangements; or
- event instructions.
If the Event is cancelled, rescheduled or materially changed, the Refund, Cancellation and Ticket Transfer Policy applies.
19. Consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, remedy or right that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.
20. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
Any unenforceable provision will be read down or severed to the minimum extent necessary without affecting the remaining provisions.
